RCTS offers a comprehensive library of self-assessment questionnaires (SAQ) that are used in many of our efficacy and safety-in-use study designs. SAQs are used to collect the opinions of study volunteers and measure the perceived performance and attributes of test products.

SAQs can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the product being tested. For a skin care product, for example, volunteers would be queried about their thoughts on the absorption characteristics of the product; how the product makes their skin feel; or perhaps on the tactile attributes of the product (e.g., tacky, greasy). Using SAQs and statistical analysis of the resulting data, RCTS can help product development scientists and product marketers make sound decisions on the commercialization of test products.

The information gathered through SAQs can influence critical marketing decisions about new products. Therefore, our team ensures the data obtained from these questionnaires is carefully tabulated and analyzed to guarantee scientific validity.
